What are the advantages of eBikes?

E–bikes use rechargeable batteries that can travel up to 25 to 45 km/h, much faster than most people would cycle, getting you to your destination quicker and in better shape. In a nutshell they offer low cost, energy efficient, and emission-free transportation which also has physical and health benefits

What is a eBike pedal assisted bike?

Generally speaking, E-bikes are bicycles with a battery-powered “assistant” that comes via pedalling and, in some cases, you can use a throttle. When you push the pedals on a pedal-assist e-bike, your motor engages and gives you a boost, so you can zip up hills and cruise over tough terrain without as much or as little effort you decide.

How long does your eBikes take to charge?

Between the various models and brands, it can usually take around 4 hours to fully charge.

Do you currently sell the products in retail stores?

No, we currently sell direct to customers. However we are considering this as an option in the near future.If you are a retailer and would like to stock our products, then please Contact Us.

If the battery goes flat, can I use the eBike just like a normal pedal bike?

Yes, these bikes are equipped with a high quality, durable Shimano 7 Speed Gear system. So these can be operated just like a normal bike.

What counties in Ireland do you cover?

We deliver Free Nationwide via courier if required. From Donegal to Cork, Galway to Dublin and all the counties in-between.

Can I test ride your products?

Yes, you can book an appointment by getting in touch with us first.

Are these bikes legal for Irish roads?

Yes, the 250 watt variant with pedal assist is legal to use in the public. As long as it has a max speed of 25km/h, maximum of a 250 watt motor and pedal assist only. These models comply with EU EN15194 standards.However we also offer a 500 watt motor variant with a direct throttle rather than pedal assist and a faster speed (45km/h), these are to be used on private property only as they are not legal to use in public.

Do you have a showroom to view your products?

Yes we have a showroom in our head offices on Airton Road Tallaght Eircode D24 DY09. Currently due to Covid Legislation an appointment will need to be made prior to viewings. You can contact our office on 01-8663366

How far can I get on a full charge?

Generally you can get around 50KM per charge, this greatly depends on the amount of hills and pedal assist used.

How long is it before I need to replace the battery in my bike?

Our Samsung™ batteries will last in excess of 500 charge cycles! This equates to approximately 25,000km of total travel per battery, provided you look after them!This means not overly discharging or charging them, NEVER use any other battery charger other than the one supplied with the bike and NEVER discharge your battery past the automatic cutoff level.

How fast are your eBikes?

The standard speed of these bikes to comply with EN15194 standards is a max speed of 25km/h.However our more powerful off road version, not for public use is rated to 45km/h max speed.

Can I ride the bike in the rain?

The bikes are water resistant meaning if you were to ride through a small puddle or in light rain the bike should be fine.HOWEVER riding in HEAVY rain should be avoided if possible although the motor and battery are IP65 rated, water damage is never covered under our warranty.If we say “Yes” it is 100% waterproof we will always get that one person that decides “Yeah waterproof must mean I can go do some river jumping put it on YouTube and she’ll be sweet to ride again”

How heavy are your bikes?

The bikes weigh up to 28KG total depending on the model. Some E Bikes in the range may be lighter.
